Ingredients
- 2 Mature banana
- 100 gr flour
- 25 gr cacao powder
- 3 table spoons of yoghurt
- 1 egg
- 1 tea spoon of baking powder
- 1 tea spoon of maple syrup (optional)
- 1 tea spoon of vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- Almond
- Orange zest
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180C degrees.
- Smash the bananas and mix with the egg. Mature bananas provides natural sugar to the bread so we don’t need to add any sugar. Mature banana is a sugar substitute.
- Add the vanilla extract, if applicable, maple syrup.
- Add the flour, cacao, baking powder, pinch of salt and mix.
- Add yoghurt. It gives workability to the batter and makes it smooth.
- Add the orange zest and almonds.
- Pour the batter into the cake mold, preferable a bread load mold.
- Bake the bread 30 mins and check if it is baked by using a toothstick method. If it is still batter, bake it until it becomes solid.
